Fees

Published. Flat. Defensible.

The firm publishes flat fees for standard engagements because transparent pricing is a feature of the relationship. Complex wealth work carries a disclosed range before a retainer is collected. Nothing on this page is a quote; a quote follows the initial consultation.

Single individual or couple, primary residence, retirement accounts, minor children possible.

  • Will with pour-over provision
  • Durable financial power of attorney
  • Medical power of attorney
  • Texas Directive to Physicians
  • HIPAA authorization
  • Nomination of guardian if applicable
  • Beneficiary designation coordination
  • Document execution, witnessed and notarized

Families under the federal estate-tax threshold with straightforward asset mixes.

Family estate plan

$6,500

Integrated family plan

$12,500

All of the family plan, plus a first wealth-transfer vehicle and GST planning overlay.

Complex wealth plan

Multi-vehicle integrated plans involving business succession, charitable strategies, or advanced valuation planning.

  • Multi-party coordination with CPA, financial advisor, and business counsel

Operating-business owners, significant real-estate holders, and multi-generational wealth.

Probate & trust administration

Hourly · $525

Flat-fee option available after initial asset inventory

Texas probate, trust administration, and fiduciary representation.

  • Court filings and representation for independent or dependent administration
  • Trust administration counsel to trustees
  • Accountings and beneficiary reporting
  • Coordination of Form 706 and Form 1041 with the family’s tax preparer
  • Fee defense for executors and trustees

Executors and trustees stepping into an ongoing administration. Quoted flat where feasible after the first month.

Annual relationship retainer

Included for every standard plan.

Every client who completes a Family plan or above is automatically enrolled in the annual relationship retainer. There is no additional fee for the retainer in year one. In years two onward, the retainer is $450 per year.

The retainer covers: the January written review, the annual update call, small administrative questions throughout the year, and correspondence with the family’s other advisors. It does not cover new drafting, which is quoted separately at a disclosed flat rate when a change in the plan requires it.

Quotation

Published fees are starting points, not quotes.

A quote follows the ninety-minute initial consultation and is documented in the written engagement letter. If the scope of your matter falls outside the published tiers, we will say so on the consultation call and price accordingly in writing.
